Last summer, my good friends Tom and Ang Gale brought a seriously cute baby girl into this world. And, they asked me to be their 'little bean's' godmother! My present to Tom, Ang and the Bean was a CD that I recorded in my basement apartment.

Now, I must tell you here that Little Bean is as cute as she is saucy. Especially when she was a newborn. She cried A LOT. But when Tom and Ang played the CD for her, something pretty darn remarkable happened...she stopped crying. And almost instantly.

I didn't believe them when they told me. I thought they were just being nice. But during my next visit, they played it during one of her meltdowns and I witnessed it with my own eyes! It works almost every time :) Now, their iPad is a staple in their baby-on-the-move kit.

After some persistent encouragement (and a bit of arm twisting) Tom and Ang, finally convinced me to release the record to the public.

And here we are several months later.

I have to say, this project was honestly such a joy to work on. Too often in the creative arts, we start to take ourselves too seriously. This project helped me to get back to the roots of why I decided to become a musician in the first place.
